MARCH 2012

Di suatu pagi yang indah selepas subuh dan sebelum peperiksaan akhir Subjek Control System Engineering ESE353 saya telah di langgar oleh sebuah viva yang berpunca dari lori yang driver nye sngt bodoh, belagak, bangang, takpandai hormat org, rasa dia besar sangat, dan samseng. lepas accident beliau (pemandulori) telah melempar kan kata2 kesat tapi saya buat lek je sbb ni kawasan dia. nah sedikit gambar
Few days after the accident I went back to kl with my friend Roskam and his car alternator isnt working and his battery were dead in the middle of the highway and we did a battery swap so we could continue the journey

FEB 2012

Mid Semester Break, going back to KL alone this time. its very boring and I make lots of stops and even pay visit to my aunt in Perak. Driving from penang to kl with only 4th gear is really pain in the ass.
Went back to Mat Jey's and having my gearbox checked. AGAIN.
This is what happen to my 5th gear, the bearing is destroyed.
Didnt have enough time to fix the gearbox so bought a new one. thankyou Sha Ool
Change my rear spring using Iswara Sport Spring

My First Convoy with the StreetKing UiTM Penang. And I snapped my 5th gear during the convoy. Continue the rest of the journey with only 4th gear.

DEC 2011

Its been 1 year since my general engine rebuild, and I had problem tuning my carburettor because my engine only runs on 3 piston.

I bought this 3K-B head and i wanted to place it on my 4k engine. 3K-B head is Very different from 4K head. I wont tell you what is the difference go find out yourself and I'm sure you already know whats the advantage of 3K-B head over 4K head ;)

NOV 2011

I had a gearbox problem while travel from penang to KL on november 2011, Whenever I shift into 3rd gear there's a noise and vibration, and it scares the shit out of me. since I was traveling alone that night and if anything happen there's no one to help.

Luckily I'm on my semester break. So I'll have lots of time looking to repair it.

So I went to Mat Jey's and as usual jack the car up and place it on a stand.
I took some photos of the under carrage rusts are everywhere !






I went to my friend's apartment and he showed me he had twin intake Weber DCNF for toyota K-Series engine, and its not for sale. dammit.




Draining Gearbox oil before taking out the gearbox




After removing the screws and mounting the gearbox is out






Gearbox operation starts





There's ball bearings inside it, carefull you'd dont want to lose it.






Disassembling SynchoGear and cleaning parts








Change to new bearings




Reassemble Synchro gear and parts








And finally please be careful if you are handling Engine parts or gearbox parts, because the edges are sharp as knife. and i did learned my lesson because my gearbox cut my thumb. it was deep.





after the bearing change my gearbox works perfectly. the problem rises is mainly caused by low level of gearbox lubricant. im gonna check for my gearbox lube often after this.
